Step 1: Remove Old Drawer Guide
A drawer guide is the plastic piece on the back of the drawer. It's usually pretty simple to remove. I used one of my favorite tools to help remove it.
Step 2: Measure the size of drawer runner
I found these adjustable drawer guides that allow you to measure and set the size to your specific drawer runner. Unfortunately drawer runners aren't all standard, and it's often impossible to know what size you need. With these adjustable drawer guides, you can set the size based on your specific drawer slide.
Step 3: Attach new drawer guide
The adjustable drawer kit comes with screws and nails to attach the new guide back onto your drawer. Make sure you line it up with where the previous drawer guide was, and drill or nail it in.
Step 4: Test out your drawer to ensure it fits
This can be the most rewarding or frustrating parts. If it doesn't line up, the drawer won't fit and slide smoothly. You might need to readjust the drawer guide and reinstall.
